“The one who boasts should boast in this: that he understands and knows me”.
- Jeremiah 9:14.
Dear Friends,
“Don’t do ninety”, said Billy Graham in an interview when he reflected on being 90. He stated what a hard year that ninety was for him. He lived to be 99.
I might say the same thing. Ninety was the toughest year I have known, climaxed (if that is the right word) by my falling on my face at the Nashville airport on May 6, 2026. I have since been enduring what my Vanderbilt physician calls a “post combustion syndrome”. As I write today on my 91st birthday, I have stayed much the same. Struggling big time. Can’t tell the difference between vertigo and balance problems from the fall. I preach sitting (Jesus did!).
T. R. travels all over the world with me (from USA to London to Hong Kong). Doing daily one -minute tweets (R T Kendall X). Writing my 92nd book called Holy Fear (a follow up to Holy Fire). As some of you will know, Holy Fire sought to disprove the false teaching of cessationism. (I have had thrilling reports of people who said this book completely changed their views.) Holy Fear is a call to return to the fear of God which has virtually perished from the earth. Please pray that God will use this book. My latest book Doctrines of Demons is a wake-up call to point out six popular doctrines (open theism, gifting over character, universalism, the feel good gospel, cessationism, hyper-grace) that some prominent leaders regard as truth but which are actually a fulfillment of Paul’s word that there will be “teachings of demons” in the last days (1 Timothy 4:1). Please pray that God will use this book.
I was urged to write a book The Unloved Woman (based on Leah) by Tyler Feller. My sermon “The Unloved Woman” (inspired by Susie Hawkins, wife of O. S. Hawkins) has reached over a million people on You Tube so far. I have added twelve women (e.g. Deborah, Mary Magdalene, Esther, Abigail) and made it a book and call it The Unloved Woman and Other Unlikely Women of Significance. It will be out January 1, 2027.
That’s it for now. Kindly pray that I will start feeling better! Mostly that I will know the Lord better, according to Jeremiah 9:14.
Much love to you all from Louise and me.
